Outside our alburgue a few days ago sat three women. They were just adorable, old friends it seemed, and I really wanted to take their photo. As I walked by I asked in my best Spanish if I could take a photo of them. Two of them nodded so I focused my camera on them. At this point the dialogue began. The lady in black didn’t want her photo taken because she was “muy fea!” In Spanish that means very ugly. The lady on the opposite end of the bench started scolding her. The lady in the middle just seemed a bit confused. Anyway, I started snapping photos and got this beautiful sequence.
Three Spanish Women

I consider myself a seer. There are so many things that present themselves to us every moment of every day. So many beautiful moments that can easily be passed by unseen. I love to keep my eyes open to the little "gifts" that lie in my path. So many good things that are just waiting to be delighted in. This blog is a collection of these things.
